Advent, Advent - the most wonderful time of the year is in full swing!

The streets are aglow with lights, the scent of mulled wine and roasted almonds fills the air and the Christmas markets attract young and old alike. The Advent season is in full swing here too! Our christmas market stands in several cities have been set up and lovingly decorated for a few weeks now - and we look forward to welcoming you there.

A look back: How it all began with the first Christmas market

Our Christmas market journey began in 2019 with a small stand in Düsseldorf-Benrath. At the time, we had no idea that five years later we would develop our stalls in five different cities into real strongholds for camel, yak and sheep wool. Today, we are proud to be able to provide you with cosy socks, warm gloves and stylish hats not only online, but also on site.

Planning and preparation - a real adventure

The Christmas season may reach its peak in December, but we start preparing for it in spring. Registering for the markets, calculating the goods and coordinating with our production company in Mongolia - all of this starts months in advance. After all, we want to make sure that we have enough products for our six Christmas markets, the online shop and our business customers.

Many factors influence our planning: the weather, the mood in the run-up to Christmas and even the length of the Advent season. Cold and snow ensure full markets, while rain or times of crisis can depress visitor numbers.

Logistics right up to the last minute

The goods for our Christmas stalls come directly from Mongolia to us in Aachen. From there, they are either shipped or transported to the markets in private cars. Shortly before the markets open, we set up the stalls, sort the goods and create space to keep everything organised. There is a stall manager responsible for each market who ensures that the shelves are always well stocked - even in the smallest stalls. This means we can still offer you the perfect products in mid-December.

New this year: Handmade mini camels and yaks

A special highlight this year were . You can now also buy these unique pieces, which previously adorned our office, at our stands. They are made with a lot of love and care in Mongolia - it takes the craftspeople about a week to make one animal! If you are looking for a special, handmade gift, you are sure to find it here.

Thank you for your support!

Advent is not only the busiest time of the year for us, but also the most beautiful. Thanks to your support, we are able to enjoy being part of it every year. Whether you order online or visit us at the markets - we thank you from the bottom of our hearts and wish you a cosy and reflective Christmas season!
