General Terms and Conditions of Steppenstrolch GmbH
§1 Applicability to Businesses and Definitions
(1) The following General Terms and Conditions apply to all deliveries between us and a consumer in the version in effect at the time of the order. A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither commercial nor related to their self-employed professional activity (Section 13 of the German Civil Code (BGB)).
§2 Formation of a Contract, Storage of the Contract Text
(1) The following provisions regarding the conclusion of contracts apply to orders placed through our online store at http://www.steppenstrolch.de.

(3) The presentation of goods in our online store does not constitute a legally binding offer on our part, but is merely a non-binding invitation to the consumer to order goods. By ordering the desired goods, the consumer submits an offer to enter into a sales contract that is binding on him or her.
(4) Upon receipt of an order in our online store, the following rules apply: The consumer submits a binding offer to enter into a contract by successfully completing the ordering process provided in our online store.
The ordering process consists of the following steps:
- Selecting the desired items
- Add the item to the shopping cart
- Reviewing the Items in the Shopping Cart
- Click the “Checkout” button
- Log in to the online store after registering and entering your login information (email address and password).
- Re-check or correct the data you have entered.
- Binding submission of the order by clicking the “Place Order” or “Buy” button
Before submitting a binding order, the consumer may, after reviewing their information, return to the webpage where the customer’s information is entered by clicking the “Back” button in their web browser to correct any input errors or cancel the ordering process by closing the web browser. We will immediately confirm receipt of the order via an automatically generated email (“Order Confirmation”). With this, we accept your offer.
(5) Storage of the contract text for orders placed through our online store: We store the contract text and send you the order details and our Terms and Conditions via email. You can also view the Terms and Conditions at any time at https://www.steppenstrolch.de/agb. You can view your past orders in our customer area under My Account --> My Orders.
§3 Prices, Shipping Costs, Payment, Due Date
(1) The prices listed include the applicable sales tax and other price components. Any shipping costs are added separately.
(2) The consumer may pay by prepayment, direct debit, PayPal, or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express).
(3) If the consumer has chosen to pay in advance, he or she agrees to pay the purchase price immediately after the contract is concluded.
§4 Delivery
(1) Unless we have clearly stated otherwise in the product description, all items we offer are ready to ship immediately. Delivery will take place within 5 business days at the latest. The delivery period begins the day after the payment order is sent to the bank handling the transfer for payments made in advance, and the day after the contract is concluded for all other payment methods. If the end of the delivery period falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or public holiday at the delivery location, the period ends on the next business day.
(2) Even in the case of a sale by mail order, the risk of accidental loss or accidental deterioration of the sold item does not pass to the buyer until the item is delivered to the buyer.
§5 Retention of Title
We reserve ownership of the goods until the purchase price has been paid in full.

Consumers have the right to cancel under the following conditions, where a “consumer” is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither commercial nor related to their self-employed professional activity:
Cancellation Policy
Right of Withdrawal: You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you (other than the carrier), took possession of the goods.

by means of a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by mail, fax, or email) regarding your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the attached sample withdrawal form for this purpose, although its use is not required.
Consequences of Withdrawal
If you cancel this contract, we must refund all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of any additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery option we offer), without delay and no later than fourteen days from the day we receive notice of your cancellation of this contract. We will use the same payment method for this refund that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no event will you be charged any fees in connection with this refund.
We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever comes first.
You must return or hand over the goods to us immediately, and in any case no later than fourteen days from the date on which you notify us of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you ship the goods before the fourteen-day period expires.
You are responsible for the direct costs of returning the goods.

§9 Repairs and Warranty for Our Products
The statutory warranty provisions apply.
If a garment develops defects within 12 months of purchase, the customer is required to send us a photo of the defects in advance so we can assess them. This is done through customer support using our Contact Form or by email to support@steppenstrolch.de.
Once we receive the item, we will conduct a thorough review of the photos. If it turns out that there is a material defect, we will offer either a repair or a replacement of the garment.
If there is no material defect but, for example, wear and tear is detected, we offer the option of returning the item with the enclosed repair thread so you can repair it yourself.
§9 Language of the Contract
