Our high-quality products are made from the finest yak hair to knit cosy scarves, hats and jumpers at home. This knitting wool is made from 100% finest yak hair. It is therefore not suitable for knitting socks.

Our knitting wool is made from 100% natural yarn and is very sensitive to friction. We therefore do not recommend this wool for socks. With the right care your knitted garments retain their original fit.

In all the colours of the yak
Knitting wool made from yak hair is available in the three natural colours of yaks. The yak wool is 3-ply with a running length of 260m.

A Life in the Cold Highlands.
Yaks feel most at home in high mountain regions and at low temperatures. Their wool is combed by hand from the undercoat and is extremely warm and incredibly soft.
Wool that adapts
The warm, fine wool from Yaks is cosy and feels like cashmere. At the same time yak hair insulates very well and has a temperature-regulating effect. It is the finest wool in our range.
